Science is big at Liberty Ridge Elementary in Bonney Lake! There were lots of great exhibits by students as well as hands-on science stations hosted by high school students, teachers, and parents. I presented my Science Magic show to cap the evening off.
- Students who participated in the World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser received special seating for the show
- Students came up with very imaginative questions to test for their experiments
- First place Science Fair project
- Hands-on stations let kids build and make their own science demonstrations
- The Liberty Ridge PTO did a fantastic job making this evening a success
- Kids creating balloon-powered marshmallow shooters
As my performance was paid for using funds raised by selling World’s Finest Chocolate bars, students who participated in the fundraiser got to sit in the “VIP seating” section. Penny with the Liberty Ridge PTO presented giant chocolate bars and a huge stuffed puppy dog to top sellers.
High school students were on hand with a great demonstration using the juice from a boiled red cabbage as a chemical indicator. The video below shows how you can do this on your own (adult supervision required).
