Story time with Ellen Duffy (Timberland Regional Library) in English, and Carlos Rodriguez en Espanol
The first annual Love Talk Play event was a success! The event was coordinated by Shelly Willis with the Family Education and Support Services, and several other community organizations contributed to make it happen. Sponsors included the Thurston Early Childhood Coalition, Molina Healthcare, and North Thurston Public Schools. Several community organizations including the Timberland Regional Library System, South Sound Reading Foundation, Thurston County Food Bank, and others were there with information, resources, and activities for families.
- So much fun, kids don’t even know they’re learning!
- Free community resources for families
- Who said there’s no such thing as a free lunch? Thanks to Molina Healthcare for providing the catering from Casa Mia.
- The Lydia Hawk gym was full of activities for kids
- BLOCK Fest fun
- Molina Healthcare was a sponsor for the event
- Even I would do spin class if they had a Blender Bike!
- Awesome seeing kids walking around munching on fresh carrots from the Thurston County Food Bank
- Story Time for kids every half hour, in both English and Spanish
