This past week I visited two Pioneer Elementary Schools: in Olympia with my No Bullies Allowed assembly, and in Auburn with my Science Magic assembly. Susan, with the PTA in Olympia, shared these wonderful comments.
Jeff Evans conducted an anti-bully assembly at our school Pioneer Elementary in Olympia. He got right to the point with the children about common bullying occurrences! I felt like I had told him what was seen at times with children bullying one another. He knew how to hold their attention with entertaining magic displays that also visually presented how it feels to be bullied. He chose the children to be a part of the show from the crowd. Lastly, he was able to manage the children’s behavior by selecting only those sitting nicely in their places to be volunteers. All of the teachers were happy to see Jeff again and the kids were excited and engaged. We will ask him to come back again next year!!
