If you have school-age kids and are Jeff Evans fans or just want to check out a fun show, here are my library appearances for June 2011 as Summer Reading Programs kick off across Washington state. Check out my July 2011 schedule here.
This year I’m featuring Magic Around the World, a history and geography-themed show with amazing magic. Kids learn amazing facts about the people, landmarks, and history of countries around the world.
Whether baking a pizza in Italy, juggling the most unlikely of items in Egypt, or crafting magical origami in Japan, you will remember this outrageous trip to the library! All programs are free and open to the public. Space is limited and these programs are typically very popular. Some libraries give out tickets in advance; for others seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact your local library for more information. Recommended for ages 5+.
